Withdrawing BTC

LocalCoinTrader offers a non-custodial Bitcoin wallet, which means the platform doesn't charge any fees for using it. However, you will need to cover the transaction fee required to broadcast your transaction on the Bitcoin network. This fee is paid directly to the miners who process and validate transactions on the network.

Withdrawing ETH and Ethereum-based tokens

All LocalCoinTrader wallets for Ethereum and ETH-based tokens are non-custodial, meaning there are no withdrawal limits, but users are responsible for covering the associated transaction fees. These fees, known as Gas, are paid to the miners. The amount of ETH needed depends on the gas price, which fluctuates based on network congestion at the time of the transaction. You can check current transaction costs on Etherscan here: https://etherscan.io/gastracker. If you’re sending tokens, the required ETH must be in the same address from which you're withdrawing.

Trading Bitcoin

For Bitcoin trades exceeding 0.005 BTC, LocalCoinTrader applies a 1% fee to the vendor. For trades below 0.005 BTC, a flat fee of 0.00005 BTC is charged to the vendor.

Trading ETH and Ethereum-based tokens

Due to the non-custodial nature of Ethereum and ETH-based token trading on LocalCoinTrader, there are minor Gas costs involved in the escrow process for trades. These small transaction fees, paid in ETH, are necessary for transactions on the Ethereum blockchain and vary with network congestion but are typically modest. If you're selling tokens, the required ETH must be in the same address used for the trade.

Trading Litecoin

For Litecoin trades exceeding 0.5 LTC, LocalCoinTrader applies a standard 1% fee to the vendor. For trades below 0.5 LTC, a flat fee of 0.005 LTC is charged to the vendor.

Trading TRX

50% savings

Trading TRX typically requires a blockchain fee of 12 TRX on the TRON network. However, LocalCoinTrader covers this fee for you and charges the vendor only 6 TRX, cutting the blockchain fee cost by 50%.

Trading TRC20 tokens

50% savings

When trading TRC20 tokens on the TRON network, you are responsible for the blockchain fee for the escrow transaction, which is usually 55 TRX, or over $4 USD. However, LocalCoinTrader covers this fee for you. Instead, we charge the vendor 2 tokens (2 USDT for USDT-TRC20 trades), reducing the blockchain fee cost by more than 50%. This setup also means you don't need to buy TRX to cover the fee.
